Cave house stay, Location very close to Cave House museum and a great rock church easy walk from Matera Sud station. Little out door area in shade to sit too.

We stayed for only 1 night but now, I wish I stayed longer in this enchanting town. Matera is even more magical from sunset onwards. As an accommodation, 19.52 is truly an authentic Matera experience since it is located within the Sasso Caveoso district. It is surrounded by very good restaurants and bars yet the area is very romantic! Cecilia, the owner is 100% helpful with clear communication both before and throughout our stay, even giving us very helpful recommendations when we asked her. She welcomed us upon check-in (that was very kind of her and appreciated) and facilitated our check-out too. Thank you Cecilia! If I visit Matera again, I would definitely stay at 19.52 again and for a longer stay!
