Strategic location for those who want to dive in Mnemba Atoll. Very clean rooms, great shower and bed! And the food is amazing! The staff are extremely helpful and do everything they can to please! There is a diving agency located inside the hotel itself, which is very convenient!

We wanted to have relax, quiet and wonderful views, and that’s what we got. Very professional staff. The location was perfect, with shuttle bus to the beach. We arrived there with the taxi driver that helps us move around, Abdul taxi driver, very professional and always willing to help, his esp number is +255 755 817 213

It is far from the village, therefore giving a cozy & refreshing atmosphere. We enjoyed every moment there. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, ocean view suite was breathtaking. Such a perfect place for a couple or even with kids ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I would definitely choose sunshine marine lodge again. Best Zanzibar experiences

What a lovely place this is! First of all, I wasn't expecting to have a view because I didn't book a sea view room, but I was amazed when I opened the back door! Of course it's not an obstacle-free sea view, but it's still a sea view, and it's worth it! Staff is always friendly and nice, Emmanuel even took me and other guests to a party in Nungwi, which was a nice treat. The room is spacious and comfortable. Loved that they had the ceiling fan, a standing fan, and a little fan in the bed, because the heat in Zanzibar has to be taken seriously!! Bed is comfortable, and the housekeeper make a beautiful arrangement of the sheets - it just looks lovely every time! Loved the "lounge" area inside the room, I used to lay in there for a long time, because even though is made of concrete, it's a very nice corner to spend some time reading. They provide a cute little kettle, tea, coffee, water, and they also have a mini fridge - so, the room is very well equipped on that regard. The shower and sink are inside the room, but the bathroom corner was very well designed and it looks lovely. And I absolutely loved the shower gel and body lotion, the scent is like from heaven!! Outdoors they have a beautiful garden throughout the place, and the pool and restaurant are is just....Wow! You have a view of Mnemba Island, and it's just indescribable! The views are just amazing! Loved that everyday they send you on whatsapp the daily menu, the weather and the tides hours. Although the beach isn't accessible from this hotel, they have another hotel from the same group nearby, to which they provide a shuttle bus and you can access the beach during the day.

Location is absolutely stunning - overlooking Mnemba island. Facilities are stunningly beautiful. Staff are above and beyond. Food was excellent - very tasty and they even have seriously good strong coffee here. Rating is given staying in ocean front deluxe (room 2) which is literally 4m from the ocean - highly recommended. Great onsite dive center with great staff and good boat they use to go to the dive sites. Massage at the spa was awesome. All in all one of the best places we have ever stayed.

Location and relative friendliness of the staff. Food is great and not overpriced. Diving club on the premise with amazing spot right next to the hotel.

The location is amazing! Right in front of the Mnemba island. The restaurant and the lounge area face directly the ocean, everything is clean and all details taken care of. The rooms are in the middle of palm trees and suepr quiet, with the only sound you can hear the sound of the wind and of the maki (small climbing monkeys). I totally reccomend it!
