Me and my mom booked a room with a balcony and seaview. We really loved this place, it was amazing. The Family was so friendly and helpfull. Can really recommend the room with balcony and seaview!

I booked a room at Kolition at short notice as I wanted to extended my stay in Hiriketiya. The room was perfect for my purpose as a solo traveller who simply needed a place to sleep. The room was spacious enough for me and had big windows for letting in light. The bed was large and comfortable. Lots of storage space in the room, including a wardrobe and dressing table. Bathroom was next door to the room but solely for my use. I think the advert stated that the hotel had hot water but I didn’t have any hot water in the shower, unless I was doing something wrong. Super friendly and kind owner.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kolition Villa—it was honestly one of our favorite places in Sri Lanka! From the moment we got there, Suri, the owner, made us feel so welcome. He’s just lovely, always with a smile on his face, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was perfect—super spacious, really clean, and so peaceful (well, apart from the peacocks, but we actually loved waking up to them!). Plus, the view of the ocean from the balcony was absolutely beautiful—it felt like the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. The location was spot on too. It’s just a short walk to Dickwella Beach, and Hiriketiya is only about 10 minutes away. We personally loved being in a quieter village area, surrounded by local families—it felt really peaceful and gave us a nice break from busier touristy spots. If you’re heading to Dickwella, we’d 100% recommend staying here. Kolition Villa was such a special place, and we’d go back in a heartbeat!

Good walking distance to Dikwella Beach and a tuk tuk drive or hilly walk to Hiriketiya. Was very clean and comfortable with AC. Views of ocean and can watch local monkeys from balcony. I highly recommend a meal at Smoke and Bitters and breakfast at Surf and Spice! The Hoppers down the road are also fresh and tasty!

The owner was extremely helpful and happy to do anything for us. The beds were comfy. The whole place was clean. We had a very quiet, comfortable night. Great location between the two beaches of Hiriketiya and Dickwella.

Great location, just a short walk to the beaches, coffee shops, and restaurants, which made our stay very convenient. The room was spacious and well-equipped, offering plenty of comfort for our trip. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor inconveniences.

The staff were super helpful and amazing - did our laundry and got us a tuktuk to our next location at fair prices. The location was perfect, right between both beaches, Dikwella (swimming) and Hiriketiya (surfing).
