We had a very nice relaxing time at Deep Blue. We only stayed for a single night but could have been easily couple of more. It’s very chilled and silent out there, you feel almost cut off from the city. The property is amazing! The garden, the pool and the building is beautifully designed and maintained. It’s huge and has many chill areas, even a small private beach. You will wake up on the sound of the ocean and birds. The room was very clean, had a nice hot rain shower and you even got a hand towel (1st time in Sri Lanka) The manager was helpful and kind. He speaks fluent English and will be at ur service any time u need. They have bikes to ride around the city and to reach some beach bar restaurants. Highly recommended, even for a short stay in Matara!

We choosed this place after two very long flights as we arrived from the other site of the world, Costa Rica. Our choice was based to be able to relax and...this was the best decision ever. The place is super quite, super nice staff, Restaurants are a 5-10 minutes walk and the more turistique place Mirissa is just a 10 minutes drive. This combination was for us just the perfect place to be.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept and the pool was super clean. Beautifully decorated exterior. The room was clean and comfortable. Very nice bathroom. The manager was super lovely and generous. We had fresh caught tuna one night for dinner here - it was great!

Peace & privacy. The rooms and grounds are expertly designed for a full experience of comfort amidst nature. I could easily imagine spending a week here.

We can't complain about anything. Deep blue has its own private beach with residental turtles, a big and clean pool and a beautiful garden. It is truly paradise!

Absolute paradise! The most beautiful, tranquil and peaceful setting. Such a wonderful place to start our trip to Sri Lanka. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

It’s a beautiful property ~ the grounds are well maintained and the buildings are lovely in design and spacious. The staff are friendly, quiet & unobtrusive. Breakfast was great for US $5
