The owner was so lovely! He gave us excellent recommendations for things to see and do and where to eat. Super friendly and accomodating! The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy.

Really kind staff. The room was nothing special, but had comfortable beds, a cozy interior, and a very functional tea kitchen. Lies on the outskirts of the town, but within walking distance of the centre through a lovely town

Everything. The only reason we didn't give the room 10/10 was for a very first world reason - the bed was, if anything, too big. This truly is a great motel. In the past year we have stayed in over 20 motels in NZ and Australia. This definitely one of the best. We thoroughly recommend this motel.

Very neat small motel, has a family feel to it. Everything you need was provided. Perfect location if you are going to visit Hobbiton. Owner was very welcoming and good communication. Pretty walking path behind rooms.
