We loved the hut, plenty of personal touches, a home away from home. Everything we needed on hand. Shower and toiletries luxury and needed after hike to the top of the hill to see views of Masterton and surrounding vista.

It was secluded. Perfect to just unwind and relax. The property was well equipped with everything needed. The host left personal touches that made the stay more enjoyable. Very Peaceful and quiet.

TE TAIAO (environment), WĀHI (location), NGA MEA KATOA (everything) I AROHA AHAU KI TE RANGIMARIE (i loved the peace) KAREKAU HE MOTO KOTAHI I RANGONA (not one motor was heard👌🏾) the beeeeeeeeeeeeeed was on point, I slept like a baby. loved the DVD selection, good the TV doesn't get service becoz it was good to watch a DVD. the shower was MANA (strong) honestli hurt mi flippn nipples hahaha but temp was great. the welcome letter & kind gesture of cake when checking in is ATAAHUA (beautiful).

Beautiful serene location with lovely views of the farm and lots of birdsong. Very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and linens. Milk in fridge and a little cake on arrival was very special. We enjoyed staying here, thank you Binds for your hospitality and detailed instructions on finding the location. We enjoyed reading about the history of Fallow hut.

Fallow Hut wont be for everyone... its out of town, and has basic facilities... which is why its so excellent if thats what you want. Peaceful, superb views in a lovely rural setting. And its been fitted out really thoughtfully. If you like farmland and quiet then Fallow Hut is perfect!
