The place itself was very nice, cozy and well decorated. The pool is good but a bit far away from the bedrooms. Staff was nice. Breakfast was really good!

A small six-room hotel in a very interesting location. In Marvao district, the hill top town is not far to visit (great place to visit but after a couple of hours you have 'done' it). Beside railway lines and almost opposite a wonderful old station, but no problem with noise as the train line from here to Caceras in Spain closed down more than 12 years ago. Close to great Roman excavations in Portugal and over the border in Spain and a number of small towns. The hotel was spotless. The host provided splendid breakfasts and was keen to find something extra every day. Good sized swimming pool. Good place to stay

Location next to rail bike track ( 3 min walk ) and short walk to the village restaurants. Rooms were clean and fairly modern, staff was friendly. Private and calm admosphere for a country side stay.
