The hotel was nicely place nearby the river with a nice view over the castle. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. they provided a crib free of charge and breakfast was good. The hotel restaurant was very nice, a bit overpriced but lovely food

This was the best hotel experience I had in Portugal. The hotel was easy to find, the staff was friendly and accommodating and everything worked very well. Wifi was excellent and I even had some heat (as the weather had turned chillier approaching winter). The hotel is located at the base of the "mountain" that Marvao - the medieval city and palace occupy and is only about 6 miles from the Spanish border. If I ever return to this area, I will definitely stay at the Sever Rio Hotel!

Great location with view to marvao was terrific. Staff were very friendly & we felt comfortable. Parking right outside & breakfast was fine with cooked options as well as cold meats etc

Very good restaurant food in lovely surroundings, next to river. Staff helpful & friendly. Good off road parking. Beautiful country surrounding with Marvão Castle nearby.

The bedroom and the common areas are really nice and well decorated. The Hotel is modern and well equipped. It is very well located, next to the river and good restaurants. The Hotel has a view over the River Sever and towards Marvão. The surrounding landscape is very pleasant and great for walking. Fantastic breakfast with regional products

The room is very clean and the location is amazing. We normally stay here when visiting Marvao as it is good value for money. It’s not luxury and the fixture and fittings could be nicer but you get what you pay for. It’s comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We will come back in the future.
