Good location in the middle of Marvão. Great breakfast with an amazing view. Room was a good size and very comfortable, also with Delta coffee. The seating areas near the reception were well set up also with a log fire giving a really nice space to sit and read for a few hours. Staff were attentive asking if we needed anything, friendly welcome on arrival. Just to help some others, there is a huge parking area on the entrance to the village outside the walls which was free, at least in winted. It was less than 5 minutes to walk to the hotel without driving through the narrow streets.

It's inside Marvão, an historical walled village, at the top of Serra de São Mamede, with wonderful views over the hills around and countryside.

The VIEW, breakfast & dinner were amazing. The assisting waiter in the restaurant was very attentive & professional. Excellent food & many choices were available. The Chef came to each table after dinner to talk to the customers & explained how he prepared the food. That was something. Well done!!

Every member of staff we dealt with offered truly exceptional service. Everyone was friendly and helpful and really tried hard to make our stay special. The food in the restaurant was quite exceptional (praise indeed as I’m always complaining about food).
