“Ahhhhmazing place to stay”

Absolutely gorgeous place! Beautifully decorated, well equipped and brilliantly located just inside the village walls. Easy parking just outside. View incredible from terrace and the perfect place to watch the sunrise or to relax with a glass of local wine in the afternoon after a full day exploring. Loved my 2 night stay!

Fantastic location! Easy to park and access the house, which was within the castle walls with a beautiful view. Immaculately clean, lots of space, perfectly quiet, very comfortable bed, huge bathroom, and access to a shared kitchen and living room. Great value. Would highly recommend staying here!

Marvao and our accomodation was a highlight so far on our 17 day road trip of Portugal. The apartment was authentic and very comfortable, bed was super comfortable with lots of warm doonas, the bathroom was clean with great hot water. We were the only guests for the night, kitchen facilities downstairs and a lounge. We ate out but did use the fridge. Coffee machine and our own cereal breakfast made a great start to the morning. Host, Maria, was very welcoming and explained things well. A great stay within the city walls and an easy walk to the castle. Recommend this place for an overnight stay.

The decor, wooden floors and ceilings, very comfortable accommodation, not great for the infirm or young. The same with the whole, mountain top town, absolutely gorgeous, amazing views but not for buggies, wheelchairs or walking sticks!
