Lovely spot, we stayed across from the main hotel which made it seem more private. Have managed to modernise the rooms while keeping the historic feel of the whole place. Comfortable bedding.

The garden suite rooms were a great size, spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. It’s a beautiful building with beautifully maintained gardens out the back - and our meal at the restaurant was terrific.

Garden cottage was excellent, nice but simple appropriate furnishings, and good bed. Bar very noisy, but restaurant okay.

Comfortable and tastefully furnished. The more modern garden suites were still in character with the rest of the hotel. We were given an upgrade to a garden suite, which we hadn’t stayed in before, and it was just lovely . Excellent bistro onsite.
