Bed and Breakfast Riad Fz Marrakech

The location is within a 5-minute walking distance to Jama el Fna, souks, restaurants, and gift shops. The staff, Ali and his brother (whom my wife affectionately calls 'Ali's big brother'), are incredibly kind, resourceful, and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The breakfast is excellent, with freshly baked, cooked, and prepared food. My wife ordered handmade clothes and requested them to be delivered to the hotel before our arrival, it was well received as we were in Marrakesh earlier, staying at a different hotel before heading to the Sahara. When we returned to Marrakesh, we stayed at this hotel. Ali was very helpful in finding us a taxi to the train station, and they accommodated us wonderfully.

Lovely Riad run by two brothers, Mohammed and Allie who were born and raised in this family home. The hosts went out of their way to assist us by walking us to the market to orientate ourselves on day one. Allie and Mohammed also arranged airport shuttles services, hot air balloon trip and Atlas mountaintop excursions at a reasonable rate. We struggled to book tickets online for the Jardin and Mohammed kindly did this for us as well. Rooms are exceptionally clean and serviced daily. We had the very spacious deluxe apartment with courtyard and we received an authentic experience with the courtyard being open allowing birds to fly in to the ground floor apartment.

We only stayed for one night at this riad, but it left such a positive impression that I’d highly recommend it for longer stays as well. From the very first moment, Ali and Simo went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. Ali personally met us at a designated location and guided us to the riad, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the main square, yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of delicious traditional options that gave us a true taste of Morocco. Our room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Although our stay was brief, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. A big thank you to Ali and Simo for their exceptional hospitality—I highly recommend this riad!

This was one of the best Riads we stayed in! We were a group of 4 and had the family suite which was absolutely clean & bigger then we all expected. Ali gave us the most cozy welcoming with tea and a good talk on the rooftop terrace. He and his brother Simo made the stay in Marrakesh to an unforgettable one. They helped us throughout all the questions we had, were always in a good mood with a smile on the face & did everything we could wish for. We even had a room service every day which we didn‘t expect at all. We would always book again if we‘ll come back!

The riad is close to the square and souks so it makes it very convenient. Simo and Ali were great hosts. We had many laughs together and they were kind with our kids. Nothing was a trouble and they helped us with some of our planning and provided many great recommendations.

The location was perfect! But if there is something to emphasize it is the good care of the owner, they helped us with everything and make your trip to Marrakesh much better and enjoyable. You feel like home!

We had an amazing stay in this great location, which made it incredibly convenient to access all the attractions, shops, and restaurants in the area. Whether you want to explore the city or just stroll around, everything is within easy reach. The hosts, Simo and Ali, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were always available to offer helpful tips and recommendations, ensuring we had the best experience possible. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay with friendly and accommodating hosts!

This family-run riad is an incredible place to stay - the rooms are cool (even when 41 degrees Celsius outside), the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, it's in a great, safe location next to all the markets and Ali and Simo are so friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. They always made time to come and chat to us and offer us tea when up on the roof terrace. Ali arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport then met us to walk us through the small streets to the riad. He even collected one of us from a different hotel on his moped. I would highly recommend Riad Fz to anyone travelling to Marrakech, and I would definitely stay here myself again!
