The location..not far from the city yet at a reasonable distance where u get to explore another area just as fascinating as Jamaa el Fna.

Leyla welcomed us in a warmest way possible!!! Lovely young woman! She's always been very kind, smiling and helpful. Generally speaking very happy with the whole staff. Nice Riad and the kasbah felt to us a safe place to walking by even at night. Good breakfast in the morning. Already missing the mint tea... Thanks for everything!

The riad is good value for money, in our case, It was for sleep only . The staff was SUPER NICE! They helped with our lunch for the Dessert and keep our luggage until we were back.

In quiet side street. Staff was very nice and helpful. Even they serve breakfast only 9-11am (my advice to owner is that breakfast should start regularly at 8am latest, in hotels it was from 6:30am), they prepared it for us before 8am and breakfast was very nice. There was many charging sockets, quiet aircon in the room, fridge and hot water all the time. Free drinking water is provided. Eating options (cheap and simple) are not far away. After second night we used their taxi for 160MAD to airport and even around 4am it was on time and nice. We were walked by one of the staff to meet taxi. Price of taxi was ok, (official city yellow taxi airport ride is 100MAD and during night it is 150MAD).

The welcome from the staff was wonderful and their kindness remarkable, especially Leila and Ikram. They were ready to answer any questions we had at any time and very helpful with the information they gave us. The breakfast on the roof top Terrace was a real pleasure every morning and they brought me extra coffee every day after my initial request. They were also incredibly flexible about the time of breakfast and made it individually for the different residents at whatever time they asked for it. The interior courtyard is really very pretty and very typical of Moroccan architecture. Our room was regularly cleaned. The property was very well situated. It took us a couple of days to learn the rather complicated route out of the Kasbah but it added to the fun. once you knew it it was very easy and it was a real advantage to be away from the noise and bustle of the main streets. We were minutes away from good eating places and restaurants as well as some of the major sites of Marrakesh. Lastly the property is excellent value for money. Unless you are looking for luxury, it is an ideal place to visit Marrakesh from.

I had a lovely overnight stay in a rustic (real tree branches in the ceiling!) but clean and airconditioned ensuite room. Comfortable spring mattress. Fabulous breakfast, which I took in a quiet and undisturbed dining/living room. This peaceful oasis with palm trees growing from the courtyard to the terrace is within the Kasbah and only a few minutes walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa and Rahba Kadima (huge markets including everything from modern restaurants, small shops and little kiosks/ stands) I keep mentioning the quiet, but it astonished me, given how close it is to such bustle! The only noise was the 4:30am call to prayer, which is everywhere in Marrakech (& most of Morocco).

Nice place, the hosts are very nice and helpful. They welcomed us even if we arrived late. They facilitated our transport from the airport to the Riad.

The Riad Rockech hotel is traditional, and calm. The breakfast is good, but it would be better to replace the juice with organic and natural orange juice.
