We had a wonderful experience. The only thing I would ask for is clear signage from the road, as we lost time trying to find it and even the guys manning the gates directions were not very clear.

Our stay at Vida Nova Kruger was nothing short of incredible. The lodge is absolutely stunning—luxurious yet still perfectly in harmony with the natural beauty of Marloth Park. Waking up to the sounds of the bush and sipping coffee with a view of the Crocodile River was one of the highlights of our trip. The attention to detail at Vida Nova is impressive—from the elegant décor and spacious rooms to the exceptional hospitality from the team. Everyone was warm, professional, and made us feel truly at home. Its location is ideal: peaceful and private, yet close enough for easy access to Kruger National Park. We enjoyed both relaxing at the lodge and going on nearby game drives, knowing we had a comfortable, beautiful place to return to. If you're looking for a luxurious yet authentic bush escape, Vida Nova Kruger is the perfect choice. We left with full hearts, full tummies and unforgettable memories—can’t wait to return!

Beautiful little find close to the Kruger. My husband and I spent an incredible 3 nights at this lodge. Our room was absolutely breathtaking with a comfortable bed, huge bath and view over the river. The food was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef. Deli is the wonderful host who will cater to your every need, she did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you for an incredible stay.

Amanda and Colin and staff were the most amazing hosts. In fact it was more like staying with old friends than a booked accommodation. Great location with beautiful views and the opportunity to meet and engage with fellow travellers. Facilities were beautiful and impeccably clean and the food was a consistent highlight. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The staff was extraordinarily caring and helpful. We could book all activities (even though being last second) once we got there. The response rate during business hours is super fast, so that we never had to wait long for an answer. The owners are so nice - drinks out on the terrace upon their recommendation (you HAVE to try their frozen margaritas :) ), recommendations on what to do there besides Kruger, etc. Also: the food is nothing you get at regular b&bs, it felt like a Michelin cuisine each night. So make sure to book breakfast and dinner at least!

The location, looking out over crocodile river, is immense. Has a real ambience, especially at night. The pool is wonderful during the heat of the day, with a stocked fridge and coffee machines on hand. Super tranquil. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished (though you won’t want to spend time in it). From the lodge it’s a short car ride into the park itself but it’s special being able to see it (and a river no less) just across the path. Amanda and Collin were amazing hosts, attentive, always on hand, really went out of their way to ensure I was looked after and got the most from my short stay. I would have had a much worse time without their help and advice. The lodge has a very small restaurant run by a charming man called Thomas. The menu is set but if given notice they’ll do their best to accommodate requests. The veggie food he prepared for me was amazing, well cooked and well served, with good ingredients. He is a great chef and clearly takes pride in his work. Couldn’t fault it. I would love to stay again!

What a gorgeous place! Beautiful little piece of paradise right in front of the river where you can see a lot of animals as well ☺️ the rooms were very cozzy, extremely clean and the breakfast sooo delicious, especial thanks to the wonderful chef, and to all the rest of the staff, extremely kind and helpful. Perfect place to visit Krugger, make sure to leave some time to see Marloth park as well as it offers beautiful nature
