Beautiful b&b, very comfortable rooms. Jane & Richard are a worm welcoming couple, gave us lots of info and guidance as to places to travel in Yosemite. Takes an hour just getting to the park’s entrance, but worth it over staying in a lodge.

It’s an absolute gem. Pictures on the website do not do justice - the rooms are furnished with exquisite taste. The house is actually in the forest. You may wake up to the sight of roes having a sip of water from the pond under your window. It’s per definition the island of peace.

We were warmly welcomed. Richard made us a perfect plan with things to do while our three nights stay. This was a great help during our visit of Yosemite. The breakfast options include a to go breakfast that is great when starting early in the day. Hot breakfast at our last morning was also very delicious. Rooms are lovely designed and we felt really at home, the whole accomodation is cozy and calm and it provided everthing we needed during our stay. Communication with the hosts was easy, we got great support from both when having questions.

Both hosts are very nice people and do everything to make your stay comfortable. The house and location are very clean and cozy with a lot of cute animals around the house such as squirls and humingbirds. They give you a lot of extra info for visiting Yosemite and choose the right hikes for the next day. For early starters they make a nice breakfast to go.

Jane and Richard were fantastic hosts. Very knowledgable and genuinely wanted us to have a good stay, recommending places to visit based on what we liked doing as well as the best times to go. Sadly (for us) that was nearly always early so we did end up getting a carry-out breakfast which was really good and allowed for small snacks throughout the morning on any treks. They were right about starting early though as it was the best way to see Yosemite. The room was lovely and bed comfy. The shower/wet room was huge and had everything we needed. The communal dining and kitchen area had everything we needed too and was the only place we stayed in that had actual wine glasses on our 3 week journey around California. On the last day we did sample the real sit-down breakfast and that was lovely too. Very generous and varied with a hot option.

The hotel is in the middle of forest, you can see the stars in your own balcony. Jane and Richard are amazing host. Richard made us all types of recommendations to make routes, the parkings and everything in Yosemite. Jane is very kind and made a bag with fantastic breakfast, if you are leaving to Yosemite early in te morning. They told us everything about the area, restaurants to go…

Very quiet in a magnificent natural environment and a beautiful house. We appreciated Jane and Richard's warm welcome, and we share his passion for hummingbirds. The house was tastefully decorated, the room very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. We have fond memories of the four days we spent there.
