Great location for getting to Yosemite, and Mariposa was a lovely little stop off point with cute shops and bars. We arrived late in the evening and check in was easy, parking was available outside the room and key was left in the door for us. The place looks dated but in a good way, very quirky and authentic. The on site cafe staff were fantastic and the grilled cheese sandwiches were epic!

Super easy check in after hours (chalkboard told us which room was ours, keys were already waiting in the door). Cosy charm to the room. Good microwave and mini fridge facilities. Bed was comfy, lots of pillows. (Tip: the shower does get warm, just leave the hot top running for 1 min and I promise it eventually gets hot).

Even though River Rock Inn looks a bit dated, we really enjoyed our quaint space. The staff were very helpful, the space felt clean, and it has everything we needed (a microwave!!!). The in-house cafe was also a bonus and just what we needed to start off the day right. Thank you!

Loved the casual laid back attitude. A big suite with 2 king beds, funky and quirky but clean and perfect for one night.

Location was good for Yosemite. I'd say an hours drive which wasn't to bad. Didn't see the owners but communication between us was perfect

Auto check in, Mariposa is the best place to stay if planning to visit Yosemite park, great location.

Relatively good location, hour out from Yosemite. Helpful/friendly staff, although we only saw them once. Room was nice and tidy, no complaints, worth every penny

For the oldest motel in town it's very nicely refreshed. Generally small, but with large, comfy bed and a refrigerator. Good location with various restaurants in a walking distance. The deli on site offers absolutely delicious food. I'd say the whole place is very charming.
