The price was really good for a last minute booking. Probably the lowest in Maribor. But also not really close to the city centre. Maybe about 40 minutes by walk or 8-10 minutes by taxi, which is ok. The bed and pillow was really comfy. I booked a single and got a twin room, which was nice surprise to have a bigger room at least. The room was too warm for me, so I had to keep the window open. Then it was ok. I could not change the temperature. The check in was easy, I just needed to wait for a guy from the reception, it was just about 9 pm. He didn't speak English, but if you know some basics of the local language, you will be fine. :) I think I would not mind to stay again, just because of the price.

The location and price are great, since Maribor is a small city you can easily walk to wherever you want.

I booked a private room which was both large and comfortable clean if somewhat basic. That said it was comparable to rooms sold as small hotels so I had a favorable experience. I had prepaid so check in was brief as I was running late and tired. There is some cooking facilities downstairs but I didn't stay for breakfast. There was an old castle nearby which was interesting.
