The Garni Hotel Terano in Maribor is an idyllic family hotel and restaurant, located at the foothills of the Pohorje Mountains, with fresh mountain air near thermal baths and the Pohorje ski region.
The new, but traditionally built and decorated hotel provides a peaceful night’s rest in spacious and cosily furnished rooms with air conditioning.
Start your day with a good breakfast in the self-service breakfast room where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains while listening to some music accompaniment. Various restaurants and bakeries are within walking distance.
All guests have a discount at ski rent & ski courses. The ski station is only 150 metres away, so you can venture out and enjoy yourself on the ski slopes. The Mariborsko Pohorje Ski Resort can be reached within 10-minutes. The centre of Maribor is 5 km away and can be reached by bus.
The Pohorje Bike Park is 150 metres away, while a tennis centre can be found within 2 km.

The location was good—though not in a major city, the view was stunning. It was very close to a ski resort and mountain slides, in a quiet and charming town. Free parking was available, and the host was very friendly. There was an air conditioner in the room.

Recommend the hotel even to get a night here) very cosy place with such interesting atmosphere inside, nice furnished room, very clean, new bath towels! Got the room with terrace, mountains view. Even for one night - feeling of relax and fresh! 3 min walk to mountains and italian pizzeria. Big parking area. Very nice owner of the hotel!

Excellent accommodation in Maribor. It is not in the city center but you can take a bus which takes 20 minutes and leaves oftenly nesr the apartment. On the other hand you have great view on the slopes and you can enjoy quite neighborhood. The staff was very firendly, rooms were clean and comfy and there is also parking spot.
