Lodges Overview

Gilgara Retreat is located in the heart of the picturesque Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. There are 2 types of accommodation on offer, the homestead and garden apartments.
Gilgara Homestead offers private rooms with en suites. The traditional country home-style shared accommodation includes common areas for guests to access including a shared kitchen, living and dining area. The Homestead features a large fireplace in the shared lounge room and separate reading room with board games. The shared dining room has a kettle, toaster, microwave, small fridge, tea and coffee for guests use.
Located separately from the Homestead, the Gilgara Garden Apartments offer private, spacious and self-contained accommodation, in a modern, split-level, loft style apartment with garden views. Each suite comes with a spa bath, king bed, lounge area, TV, DVD player and a fully equipped kitchenette for self catering.
Gilgara Retreat is nestled on a hillside near the corner of Caves Rd and Carters Rd. It is just a 5-minute drive from Margaret River town. Gracetown, Prevelly beaches, the Cape to Cape trail and Margaret River vineyards are all within a 5-minute drive away.
Surrounded by manicured gardens and grass lawns in a beautiful country environment, Gilgara offers an ideal escape.

The homestead offers private rooms with an en suite. All other common areas including the kitchen, living and dining area are shared with other guests. Offering traditional country home-style shared accommodation, the homestead features a large fireplace in the lounge room and separate reading room with board games. Guests have access to a shared dining room where there is a kettle, toaster, microwave, small fridge, tea and coffee. Maximum occupancy per room is 2. Please note there is no capacity for extra guests including adults, children and infants.

Gilgara Garden Apartments - enter dates to see room photos

Located separately from the Homestead, these apartments feature polished floors, split-level design with basic cooking facilities and a patio with outdoor seating overlooking the landscaped gardens. Offers a spa bath in the en suite bathroom. Please note the apartment has no capacity for additional guests. Please note that children cannot be accommodated in the apartment.
