In Cape Breton during the Celtic Colours Festival, a lot of the accommodations fill up quickly, so to find a suitable place to stay on the west coast was proving to be difficult. I checked out Duck Cove Inn on line, and saw some negative reviews, but then found some positive ones as well. I learned that the new owners had done some renovations, and we were pleased with the cleanliness of our room, and the view from our bedroom window. Gorgeous view of the Margaree River going out to the ocean!

Location. The bathroom had been renovated so it was very bright, nice and roomy. I would sugges adding more lighting in the bedroom area.

Clean, upgraded room, pet-friendly room with extra towels for pets. I enjoyed the view, the patio chairs, the hot water, and the TV had several apps.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the biew overlooking the river was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful. Close enough to Cheticamp and beaches in the area.
