It was very close to the beach. It is also small size. So clearly we got a lonely feeling. Also the beach in front is not crowded and local people still frequent the place. I had great time chatting with them

Where to begin? ;) The MOST welcoming and helpful and accomodating hosts. Jiji was amazing, always had a smile on his face and went out of his way to help us with literally anything ;) We celebrated my birthday there and he organized a cake and decorations as a surprise (to me), he helped us book trains and was always happy to have a chat - so so lovely. We were genuinly sad to leave Jiji and his family and the end of our stay and will definitely come back next time we're in Kerala. The location is fantastic, you're right by the beach and next to a small village road, you can watch the fishermen bring the catch in almost every morning or see dolphins pass right by in front of the place. The locals are super lovely as well, we felt very welcome. And the beach is just stunning. Paradise :)

Really enjoyed this homestay, clean and spacious rooms (we had 2) and right on the beach with a great view. Weather was stormy when we were there and so didn’t get the chance to go in the sea. Jiji the manager is lovely, really kind and helpful and makes an excellent breakfast. Can highly recommend.

We had a Lovely, unforgettable Stay in mararari Beachfront Homestay. The location is superb in front of the sea & beach. manager Jijy organized our trip to the backwaters and cooked us a lovely meal with the catch of the day.
