Lovely comfortable bed and room with terrace overlooking garden just a stone's throw from the beach. Biju and Natasja are wonderful hosts and I just had the best conversations with her. Special praise for the excellent coffee (a rarity in India) she makes to accompany Biju's delicious and huge breakfast.

Idyllic setting and clean room with all the basic necessities. Lovely private outdoor balcony space for daily delicious home cooked breakfast of local fruit and foods. Perfect for those seeking complete time out relaxing time. Bring books, switch off and listen to the nature from the hammock or walk the beach. Sit quietly in the life of Kerala. Chat with the hosts who are lovely people and happy to help with anything you need or want to , including arranging backwater trips and transport options

We loved everything about this charming Homestay from the great location next to the beach and near a lovely beach restaurant and shop. It’s simple yet very comfortable and clean with everything you need provided. The hosts are fabulous and make you feel like friends. The breakfasts are the best we’ve had (and we travel a lot in India) and made even better by Biju’s lovely smile. Everything was just great. I’m sure we’ll be back.

We had very good and relaxed time in Bella Beach . Jayashri and Biju are very kindly and friendly people , help us any time , when it was necessary ore we had some question. Breakfast is very good 😊 Beach is very near and the Garden around the house is beautifull.

I stayed just two nights but would have loved to stay longer. I felt so at home and Jaya and Biju were the greatest hosts - organised all my activities and my next place to visit. Room was clean, comfortable with plenty of light. Icing on the cake are the two gorgeous puppies Daisy and Jasmine! Highly recommend

Amazing homestay! Biju and Jaya are very nice and caring hosts. They prepared an extensive breakfast for us, gave good tips and organised a boating tour on the backwaters for us (which we can also highly recommend). The room is clean, the bed comfortable and the big terrace (incl hammock and fan) is the perfect spot to just hang out and enjoy the beautiful garden. The beach is just a few meters away and not crowded at all. When in Mararikulam this homestay should definitely be your first choice.
