Great staff, friendly atmosphere. Close to the city center via bus 25minutes or 8 via Uber. There is ICECREAM HERE. At that bar, large selection. Absolutely brilliant. No breakfast options but good if you want to be up and out early, biscuits and kettle etc in the room. Great selection of lunches and dinner. Definitely recommend.

Staff were very helpful, couldn't do enough for you, always checked everything was okay, asked if we needed more. The family room was very spacious. Definitely be back to stay. Bar downstairs was presented very well, nice decor and plenty of selection.

The Staff and Landlady were very friendly and helpful. They even helped take my bags to my room. The Pub had such a friendly environment that that I felt very comfortable to sit in the pub for some lunch , which was delicious.

Booked a family room and it was huge. Fantastic flatscreen television, sofa and a mini fridge. All our needs were catered for. Plenty of little extras in the room, a great hairdryer, not a tacky cheap one like you find at some establishments. There was an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe which was handy. A very comfortable double bed and a single bed also. Bathroom was spacious with a bath and overhead shower and heated towel rail. Great facilities, a great stay! 😁

Location was perfect for us as we were heading to co op live. Lovely large, warm room. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely and clean room. Food in the pub was really good value too. Good portions and tasty.

Room was pristine, very clean. Huge flatscreen tv, plenty of tea, sugar, coffee, biscuits, etc. A great hairdryer as standard, not a rubbish one like u sometimes find in some establishments! An ironing board & iron were in the wardrobe which was great. Bathroom was huge and spotless. Had a good shower which was easy to control. Plenty of towels supplied. I stayed with my daughter, who is autistic so likes familiarity and she was more than happy with the room also. A perfect stay all in all 😁👍
