The location was wonderful, very close to the forest. The kids loved the animals, including the deer and the pony.

It's a place where you need to go with your mind open to appreciate it. It is really a grandparent's house with the good and the bad, but most importantly it reminds you of your grandparent's house with old books, domestic animals and lots of space to just sit around and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you are going with kids they will certainly enjoy the playground, feeding the animals and talking to the owner.

Probably our favourite night of the whole trip in Romania - Jacob the host is amazingly welcoming (and speaks french very well), Sun the Cook is an amazing chef, and the whole house and estate are just so beautiful and serene. We absolutely loved staying there and would 100% recommend the place to all. Huge and excellent beds, very (very!) good dinner and breakfast, we wish we could have stayed longer but the pensiunea was fully booked the next day.
