The receptionists were very kind and helpful. They called taxi for us when we needed and phoned us when they found out that we left one of our suitcases in the loby. Thank you, guys! The rooms were basic. The location was not bad.

Staff are accommodating. Location is good. Ask for the voucher that gives you 50% of the upmarket restaurant next door, unbelievable deal that I found out through chance, they do not advertise the VOUCHER??? There is a tourist restaurant 5 mins walk the sells half litre cans of beer for £4 Santan or Santori OR go to the liqueur store near the Gulf hotel to buy cans at £3 each 60mins walking round trip. Do not hire a car to travel to Saudi they will not let you and check daily kilometer limit in the small print, I lost out quite substantially because my plans to travel via Saudi to Qatar were scuppered. Easy way across the Causeway is Saptco bus leaves Bahrain at 12 noon each day to Damman.
