The hotel is located in a quiet and clean neighborhood. There are good restaurants nearby. It is safe, and you can go out for a walk in the nearby neighborhood anytime. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Price/Comfort relation is very good, it is a very comfortable, clean, and good hotel for a great price.

This was a clean, well-run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The security guard at the gate was a good bloke, and those at reception helped me figure out how to get a train to Yogyakarta.

Good location, great pickup point for a mount Bromo tour. Rooms are spacious en comfortable. Don’t expect too much from it, but for a few days it did fine for us and met our expectations.

The staff were very friendly. They even contacted me via WhatsApp to communicate about our stay/extension. The location was perfect. They cleaned the room daily and changed fresh new towels and refilled mineral water bottles daily without even having us to ask them. They were very efficient. The entire stay was perfect.

Kertanegara is very well located just by Ijen Boulevard in Malang, and the rooms are comfortable, although quite basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
