Found this by chance in April. I would plan to fly via Malaga just for an excuse to go back. The photos give you no idea how incredible the setting is ❤️

Loved the location and the old building. The views from the hiking trails are Incredible. The Room was rustic, clean and warm (we stayed in the winter). We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing room. Beautiful looking hotel - Wife stated it was like being in Zorro. Continental breakfast - Enough food. Location - Mountains - For us it was perfect. It's 35km away from Malaga Airport.

We had a wonderful time at hotel humaina. The room was spacious, very clean and beautiful. The staff is very kind and always helped us with a smile. We enjoyed spending the evening around the burning fireplace with a cup of tea after hiking. The food in the restaurant wasn't top tier, it was just okay. They were so kind to make one of the meals vegan for me, which is rare in off grid places. My partner had a meat based meal and we both thought the food was just okay. But then again, the food is not the reason one would stay here. The reason is the beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous looking hotel

It is an old fashioned hotel in the middle of a beautiful natural park. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Room was simple but comfortable, & there is a large guests' lounge. It is a wonderful place for spending time walking or cycling in Montes de Malaga
