Very quiet location, outside the city centre. Excellent breakfast. Good beds. The bikes could be stored in a place outside but covered.

Having arrived by bicycle, being wet I asked the receptionist if there was a facility to dry our clothes. The receptionist was far from helpful dismissing the question

Helpful staff, had a fault in my booking but they helped me out and were really flexible about it. It had a fantastic view of IJsselmeer with a cute balcony.

The four-star rating is highly controversial. For me, it's a rather nice three star hotel. But clean everywhere, standard room amenities. Absolutely great location right on the beach. Staff neutral, a bit of smiles would have done the front desk good. Absolutely great breakfast.
