Hotel Overview

Featuring an outdoor pool and a spa centre, PLACES Dalmacija by Valamar is located next to a pebbly beach and only steps away from the seaside promenade going to the centre of Makarska. Boasting amazing sea views, it offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony.

“Great modern hotel”

It is a very modern hotel. The mobile application allows you to do almost everything you need. You can even open your room's door using your phone with the app. It is located in a very good place. All room has great views on the pool or on the sunset. The elevator also has a great view! 🤩 Pines fully cover the hotel's beach, so there is a lot of shadow there. The food is delicious. You are free to visit restaurant during the breakfast (from 7 till 11) as many times as you want and take food with you to the pool. It also has a greatly designed flexible dinner system. On check-in, you get €25 per person per night on your account. The entrance to the dinner buffet costs exactly €25 per person but you are free to skip the dinner in the hotel and use this money in the a la carte restaurant on lunch or in the pool or beach bar. Drinks on the dinner are paid but you're free to take the water from the reception. All staff are very friendly.

Beautiful location next to the beach with a lot of facilities. Excellent room and loved the terrace with the sea view. Really good omelette for breakfast as well.

Everything about the hotel was just great. Food was terrific, hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, in close proximity and with direct access to the beach. Everything can be paid with a rubber bracelet which is also a room key so there is almost 9 chance of losing your key or wallet while at sea or pool.

Great amenities, amazing and kind staff, on the beach & there is a stairway from hotel to beach, amazing food + so many options for breakfast and dinner.

young-friendly hotel, lots of entertainment such as billiards, tennis, a gift of 25 euros a day from the hotel for consumption, sea view from the balcony, green zone and Mexican decor, possibility of squeezing juices for breakfast

All at hand, beach in front, center at few mins walk and so much content in case of a bad weather. Even gym is more than equipped comparing to some higher rated hotels.
