From the start, we were warmly welcomed and even picked up from the boat. We were allowed to check in early and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a room on the first floor, offering breathtaking views of the sea. The room had a large window, so we could wake up to the sight of the ocean right from our bed. The location is unbeatable, with the best spot on the island and a charming private beach where you can truly relax. The accommodation itself was beautiful and had a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

Since Dec'22, Dhamana Beach has become my home away from home. And I keep coming back 2-3 times/year and what stands out the most is the consistency of service delivery: the location-breathtaking, the room-spotless, the bed-incredibly comfortable, the food-delicious, the staff-amazing. The words are not enough to describe how amazing this place is: Dhamana Beach is the best guest house in the South Ari atoll and has the best location in Mahibadhoo, directly on the cleanest beach. Basically, one step out of the door and you’re right there in front of the blue water, under the coconut tree where you can chill in hammocks, swings, or sun loungers observing the sunrise or witnessing the best sunsets. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and relaxed. Enzo is an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Neemey and Chuck provided the best snorkeling on local and deserted island reefs. In addition, all the trips with the guys (by the way, I did them all), were great experience that created memories I will cherish forever. Mojay and Iusuf who prepared the meals, greeted me each day with a warm smile. My only worries during my stay is what I want to eat (so I can tell Iusuf to cook it for me) and where, as you can serve your meal either directly on the beach or in the guest house restaurant. The guys made my stays during the years so memorable and now I consider them my extended family. My room is sweet decorated every time when I return. For my birthday they created a special and unforgettable event: cake, wonderful decorations, and beach sand settings. Thank you again! Good vibes always attract good people! And during my stays in Dhamana Beach I made friends with other guests and we are still in touch with each other over years. I can say with all sincerity that I don't recall a more peaceful and comfortable stay to the one I experienced at Dhamana. Thank you for everything and I’ll see you soon.

How can a holiday start better? Enzo arranged a meet & greet at Male airport, reserved the speedboat to Mahibadhoo (for a discounted fare). As usual in the Maldives, they picked me up at the jetty and drove over to the guesthouse where I was greeted with a fresh juice. The room itself was basic (as expected) but very clean. A bit dark - so next time I will book a room on the upper floor with sea view. The location can't get better on the whole island. The public beach is right in front of the doorstep (swimming only with shirt, as this is not the bikini beach). But it feels like a private beach. The meals are served on the beach (on request). One free guided snorkel trip and unlimited use of the snorkeling gear are included. And free tea / coffee and bottled filtered water (nice - they avoid single use plastic bottles). The whole team made my stay extraordinary (and I doubt you can find this similar or better at any of the luxury resorts). They created so many special and surprising moments (hard to mention them here all). Even when I had questions after my stay (e.g. about the ferries) I got an answer. They are always available but leave you alone whenever you need it. Daily housekeeping was offered (which I did not needed daily), a simple but wide food menu, all kind of tours (if you travel alone, they try to find people from other guesthouses to lower the price) - but I never felt pushed or forced to book anything. To say goodbye, the guys came to the jetty. Thank you again! You made the start of my holidays in the Maldives unforgettable.

What a little corner of heaven! Great outdoors, amazing views, good rooms, clean. Food is absolutely delicious and I find that bringing value to the property. Please try the locally sourced fish! You won’t regret it! Dinner on the beach, blue clear water.. The staff are above and beyond expectations! Thank you all for everything. I wish I’d remember all their names, but going there you’ll undoubtedly love them yourself! Breakfast is amazing, I tried local dishes, preordered the night before. They made me pack breakfast as I left early. Please keep in mind there is no alcohol, but you can purchase soft drinks from little local shops and keep in the fridge. Also you need to be dressed if swimming, the only place for wearing your swimming suit it’s at a guest beach 10 minutes away walking, or even less.. Also you will need transport from and to airport, I advise downloading the app and making your bookings yourself in advance, it’s far cheaper. I’ve paid 45$ each way, per person. Throughout the app it’s only half that amount! I will post a picture with the app details. The island is called Mahibadhoo for booking. Keep in mind it’s only running twice a day if booked in advance!

I enjoyed my stay from the first minute when they picked us up from the harbour until the last when they brought me to the speedboat and waved goodbye till I dissapeared. You get a free private snorkeling with one of the guys from the Guesthouse, we saw a lot of fishes and about 7 sharks🙂 you eat your meals on the beach! And the room, the beach, the guys were just wonderful. Don't miss to visit this place❤
