Please use your throws to cover the bed edges and settees for muddy/dirty paws jumping upWe have red clay soil which makes a mess of linenNo chewing the furniture!
All dogs must be on a lead on arrival and also going for walks, until they are used to other dogs and our tame goatsDogs may be off lead in your own cottage garden and IF they are social and friendly outside ONLY if their owners are walking with them, to manage them chasing other guest dogs, our animals.Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

The location is great, not too far out but far enough to get away from the busy city life. Amazing views, great for change of scenery and very peaceful in the afternoons, great for afternoon naps, very private too.

The reception we got from Joe, the host, was fantastic. We went during the cold front, but we were kept warm by the fireplace.

Joe and Lorraine were very friendly to us. They even gave us an idea on where to get our last minute groceries on our way to the Lodge. We were told beforehand what we would need to bring with us for a comfortable stay at the lodge. They love dogs and we are also crazy about dogs so we found beautiful dogs in their property and they allowed our dog to interact it was such a beautiful scene!

The host uncle Joe, was absolutely amazing, what a wonderful soul, we had so many laughs and chats, the dogs are so friendly and it’s a beautiful quiet cabin with an amazing fireplace, which is exactly what was needed. Really loved the stay, wanted to stay longer ❤️

The husband is a lovely first face to get introduced to! He takes hosting and settling you in to a whole new level. The cottage and surroundings are beautiful and well kept, being greeted by all the doggies were my favorite 😍 I will definitely be coming back and have friends and family come as well. Lots of fun activities to do in the area.

I liked everything about the place it's very quiet and clean. A very nice place to cuddle with your partner the dogs were friendly as well , especially Alaska very huge but doesn't bite
