“Very pleasant stopover, the best on my long journey”

I stayed at this hotel for one night on my journey across Spain en route for the UK. It's very conveniently situated, very close to Segovia. I know from past experience it's hard to navigate and find parking in the centre of the city and this is perfect, with easy street parking right outside the hotel. The hotel itself is superb, very pleasant decor and absolutely spotless. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets beautifully laundered. I felt incredibly comfortable and safe. The village of Madrona is a small, quiet place and I enjoyed wandering the streets to stretch my legs. I had dinner in the very nice restaurant next door - there are two dining options in the village - no restaurant in the hotel itself. I loved to see the storks nesting on the church tower from my bedroom window!
