It was very handy to Atocha Station - an easy walk with luggage - and close enough to Retiro Park and other central attractions. The reception staff were very helpful - even topping up the tea-making machine's water reservoir for us in the front foyer.

We were only in Madrid for a day and just needed a hotel for one night. This hotel is right next to Atocha station, making it a good location if you'll be travelling within Madrid, or even doing day trips to nearby towns. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. There is also a bar/restaurant which is convenient.

We like the cleanliness of the room, the interior which is modern, and the location. It is just beside the Atocha metro station, however, you have to walk a few blocks due to the exit point of the Metro station, about an 8-10 mins walk.

The staff! Especially the cleaning lady that took care of our room every single day with little touches for our children! Also, the kind gentleman who most of the times was on the entrance of the breakfast area. Many thanks to both of you for your treatment to my family!

The staff are great and we appreciated their help. The hotel has got it right here. Breakfast was reasonable but not much variety in hot food. When you get your bearings you can access the city easily. Reina Sofia museum with famous Guernica painting by Picasso within 15mins, for example. 10mins to train station if you need it and same for Metro.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Rafaelhotels Madrid Atocha. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, making it a great choice for anyone visiting Madrid. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the city. The standout feature, however, was the food. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely fantastic. The dinner menu offered a variety of delicious options, prepared with high-quality ingredients, and the breakfast spread was both plentiful and flavorful, ensuring a great start to the day. The location is ideal, with easy access to the Atocha train station and many of Madrid's major attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Overall, I highly recommend Rafaelhotels Madrid Atocha for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent dining options. A truly great experience!
