A pleasant hotel with a nice shower. Thought the pool area was a little hot and cramped. Breakfast was amazing. Location was good.

I was captivated by the beautiful decor, which perfectly balanced elegance and comfort. Every corner of the hotel seemed thoughtfully designed, creating a space that felt both stylish and welcoming. The warm, cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. There was a sense of peace and comfort throughout the entire property. The staff were exceptional — incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless and enjoyable. Lastly, the hotel’s amazing location was the cherry on top. Everything I wanted to see and do was just a short walk away.

Pestana Plaza Mayor is perfectly situated in Madrid on one side of Plaza Mayor. - close to everything you want to see and experience. Close to all interesting small streets and alleys filled with life and activities. On Plaza Mayor itself something is going on every day to enjoy. The hotel must be one of the very best if not the best in Madrid. Very inviting and comfortable with a nice court yard, breakfast and dining room, all under a glas roof. And with many other facilities. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff always present and with a great knowledge of Madrid. We give our highest rating to Manager Mrs. Ana Serrato running Pestana Plaza Mayor so well.

The hotel was in a very good location at the plaza mayor. The sun terrace has great views and with loungers and a small pool is a great place to chill. The inner covered courtyard is lovely and serves THE BEST breakfast I've had in a very long time- so good!
