The location was perfect for my requirements - Atocha and art galleries within walking distance. Breakfast choices were very good.

Perfect central location just opposite Puerto atocha. Central to the Madrid art triangle and right next door to the lovely museum of anthropology (free, with some good exhibitions).

STAFF. All staff from reception to breakfast staff to the cleaners were professional, friendly and engaging. LOCATION. Conveniently located close to Atocha train station; basically across the road. ROOM. The room was clean and well appointed for a comfortable stay, including a coffee machine and electric jug.

Chosen for its proximity to Atocha station. Although the room was on the small side (not unusual for city centre) it did not lack the extra touches such as full range of toiletries and the first place on a 3 week trip to provide tissues. Loved the chocolate on arrival and the Parma violets. Good breakfast and always fresh drinking water in the lobby. And last but not least - luggage storage.
