All rooms at the Hostal Rofer have a private bathroom.

I liked it in general. It was clean. The location is central, we toured the city on foot. They kept our belongings, we were not stranded.

Location is perfect for visiting the city center, it's only 10 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor. Room is very small, but we were outside most of the time, using the room only to take a shower and sleep. Room was clean and quiet. The receptionist was very helpful, gave us all information and tips we needed.

We enjoyed this hotel. Friendly staff, beds and pillow were comfortable, wifi worked well, good water pressure in the shower and we liked the location. Room and sheets were clean. We read in some of the other comments that it was noisy, while we did hear some noise didn’t bother us too much.

Receptionist Ivan was very accomodating and friendly and most importantly helpful with late check ins and suggestions on where to eat and go within Madrid city centre. He even gave us a map and few tips on where it’s safe to go. Very reachable through chat and communicate well with customers.
