Ivo “Excellent Host & Location! A preferred stay when in Madrid!”

The host was superb. Pablo gave us excellent tips on how to get to the accomodation, good restaurants, coffee shops and things to see in Madrid. Even though we didn't had chosen breakfast, fresh pastries and coffee/tea was available free of charge. Furthermore Pablo explained the tradition in Spain for New Years to eat grape and drink champagne and gave complementary champagne and grapes :) Lastly, the location is perfect to visit everything by foot.

Accessible to the main sights of the city by foot, great location, v friendly and helpful staff. The owner of the hostal, Pablo, met us on arrival at the hostal, offered us a city map and gave us a comprehensive and extensive summary of sights to see, places to eat and drink and lots of “insider” tips. We were able to consult him throughout our 5 day stay. A light free of charge Breakfast and tea and coffee were offered in the communal area free of charge for those who would be starting their day early. The room was cleaned daily.

The family runs this hotel and they all are so friendly, hospitable and warm! They explained everything they know about the city and I just followed their advices :) The location is just perfect, the cleanliness of the place is beyond my expectations! I would definitely stay in this place if I would visit again Madrid.

Pablo was really friendly and helpful in locating us in Madrid and telling us how to get to tourist sites and good restaurants and cafes. The hostel is so convenient to all sites in Madrid and in a really interesting area of Madrid. The hostel was located very close to a flamenco show which we really enjoyed and the restaurant recommendations were fabulous!

As Hostal the rooms were very nice, the statff in the reception was super firendly, giving tips and recomendations in Madrid, if you are in a budget this is a good option, the room had AC.

Pablo was the nicest hotel manager. The place has everything you need (including AC!), and is walking distance to all of Madrid's main attractions. Great stay and value for money.
