The property is literally at the center of Madrid where most of the tourist spots are walking distance. The hotel is also near the train station so the commute is convenient. The place is getting cleaned everyday so its a plus. I have all praise to this place for the price and location and cleanliness.

The room was compact, clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Charming very old fashioned wooden lift.

This location was excellent. A little confusing to find as there are so many Hostels in the same building. The older style building was lovely and the lift was a bit special. The room was small but it had everything you need.

Nice, comfortable room in the city centre of Madrid. Very close to the most popular spots - Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor. Also, the neighborhood is really charming - Plaza de Santa Ana and its surroundings. Although there was no staff present at the hostel, we did not have any problems with check in or check out, the room got cleaned every day. We were looking for a clean, comfortable room in the city centre only to spend the nights there and to be able to have all the attractions withing walking distance and for this price, we can highly recommend Hostal Madrid Sol.

The location is in the very center of Madrid. Despite of having lots of clubs and bars on the street, you can't hear much noise in the room, the window was going into the inner yard. The building is old with a charming old-fashioned wooden elevator.
