Close to both the airport and 10 minute walk from the Metro to Madrid. Good value for money, comfortable beds and clean.

Loved the area - Barajas - near the airport. Has the feeling of a Latin American small town. Sweet little Plaza Mayor (about 5 mins walk) with several restaurants, mini grocery store, and cafe surrounding it in the shade. Quiet neighborhood. There is a well-equipped outdoor exercise course about 10 mins walk. Other than that there's not much to do. I noticed at least two other hostels and/or hotel in the area, and they looked like an upgrade. Honestly, I wish I had another night there to enjoy just chilling in the small town. (I was there just one night, in transit). Staff was nice enough. The receptionist for my stay was Cuban. Tiny room: double bed, chair, nightstand, overhead lights and a desk lamp, detached closet, full basic bathroom (shower, no tub), AC, small refrigerator, TV, two electrical outlets, window to nowhere. Outlet in bathroom. Pharmacy right across the street. Several eating options within minutes, including a pizza place on the block. I paid E79. I'm a senior male from San Francisco, USA, traveling on my own. One night, June 25, 2024. Weather was hot. I would happily stay there again, but might check out other places in the immediate area.

Great for a night going to or from Madrid airport. It's one stop on the T4 train and a ten minute walk. Room was clean. Beds were pretty good. Small local area, small grocery store and a market on Saturday morning.
