Very centrally located. Within walking distance of Prado etc. Bathroom was good and included a bidet. Staff were helpful and room was very clean but a tight squeeze for two people.

Location is great, walking distance to most everything. The staff was really nice and helpful. They held my luggage without charge for a few hours on check out day. Housekeeping was excellent. The room was simple but had what I needed, including a few amenities such as bar soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner. I hope to stay here again.

Fantastic location, very nice room which was cleaned daily. Room was warm, with an adjustable radiator, nice bathroom with plenty of clean towels.

Reasonable sized and clean rooms. Excellent location close to Puerto del Sol yet our room on the 4th floor was quiet. Multiple plugs well accessed from bed. Luggage storage before and after stay for the day at no cost. Toiletries included. Good, warm showers. Excellently priced. Two lifts.

I'm just back after a four night stay at Centro Sol and cannot praise it enough. Located just a few steps from Sol metro, it's well positioned right in the centre, yet the inner room was extremely quiet and spacious, and though booked as a single, had two twin beds. The reception, on the second floor of the building is serviced by a lift as well as the stairs. The staff I dealt with were so friendly and helpful. My en-suite room was perfect with comfortable bedding, high quality linen, and the bathroom had everything one would need for an enjoyable stay. Cleanliness was 5* too and the room's key card, which is often not an option at hotels of this rating, was very handy when leaving/arriving. No key to be dropping at reception. So, if you want a reasonably priced, clean and central base in Madrid, give Centro Sol a try. The facilities were exactly as described.
