Great location, not in the very centre, but very close to it in on a quiet street. Bus station to machu picchu is only 3 minutes walk away. Breakfast was good, available from 5am til 8am. We had a room with windows facing the river, while the view was absolutely amazing, the river was so super loud even with the windows closed, that we needed ear plugs to be able to sleep. Room was also cold without heater, and there was condensation on the windows during the night. There was no kettle to make a cup of hot tea. Communication was bit difficult due to the language barrier, even on whatsapp was struggling to get information/help/helpfulness. Wifi was bad in the room, intermittent and continually disconnecting. Recommended only for the view and good price.

Stayed 2 nights single in double room. Nice room with view to river. Trough a lot of rain was so rough that there was an incredible loud noise 24h. Was not even possible to understand something in TV. Nothing to complain - I found it just a bit weird that at lunch time the staff is cooking and eating in the Customer area (breakfast room). I was waiting in the Couch area and I was covered in food smell and felt kind of disturbing and strange waiting there while all the staff was eating.

Loved the spot and the price, but it was super noisy from the river, the room was tiny and felt claustrophobic, no AC, and breakfast was only from 5 to 8.

Fantastic value - clean rooms and bathrooms, comfy beds, good breakfast (which starts at 5am, so is early enough for the first bus to Machu Picchu), 2 minutes from the bus station, sound of the river drowns out any noise from outside, hot showers, shampoo and soap provided… and very cheap!

Excellent location! We had room 505 Deluxe King, I believe, and 405. Both were spacious facing the river. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Easy check in. Used translation app to communicate.
