The fine print
Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

Location to train and bus for Machu Picchu. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff was very attentive and responsive. Welcome drink down the road close by to hotel was a surprise. Thank you. Our stay was wonderful.

Location is great, convenient, near the train station and the bus stop to Machu Picchu. Room was spotless and spacious, great views. Breakfast is good, different options and tasty.

Fantastic location with a great view of the river (booked river view). The hotel has an elevator which was a relief to use after the hike. The room was very spacious, the mini-bar was tempting and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was adequate with a variety of seating options overlooking the river with the mountains just there. Beautiful.

The room was lovely. The view is spectacular. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even surprised me with a cake for my birthday. As an added bonus they have a spa and a restaurant close by.

Nice hotel with all the amenities and services. Aguas Calientes is of course over-touristic but this place has a great location but most importantly the room was big, clean. Definitely suggested and I would return back :-)

Loved the room and location. It was clean and had a nice vibe. Loved the late check out option. Overall a great place to stay.
