Very nice family hotel with kind staff and very clean! It is very close to the beach and you can listen to the waves from your bed! There is also a common balcony that offers amazing views of the black beach, sea and the city. I would recommend!

Location is perfect, great view, easy access with car, parking a bit far but manageable. Owner is super nice and welcoming, very helpful and best coffee ever in the morning! Breakfast is simple but good quality!

Great place for a short stay. Nothing special, but very convenient since it is 10 min. drive from the airport and at a walking distance from the city center and a big supermarket. It is also suitable for doing the beautiful Sao Lourenco hike (a car is needed). They have a restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner. The girl who served us was amazing.

Residencial Familia is a small hotel which has perfect location. We loved that it was so close to the beach, restaurants and had a view on the sea. Be prepared that this place has its best times over and renovation is needed. We had two rooms, one was with renovated bathroom and one with the original one so we could see the differences. Anyway, rooms were cleaned every day and beds were comfy ...you do not need more if you are exploring all day beautiful Madeira.
