Hotel Overview

A beautiful, independently owned hotel in the heart of Lyndhurst, next to the shops and many bars and restaurants in the town. The hotel has undergone a full bedroom renovation in May 2023 to a high standard and offers a large range of room types from doubles, triples, bunk beds and has two highly popular 3 bed cottages. All rooms apart from cottages come with free breakfast! All rooms are en suite with TV’s and free tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also benefits from a fully licenced bar offering. Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and a private car park offers complimentary parking for guests’ use. Lyndhurst is the capital of the New Forest and is home to the national park’s main visitor centre and the museum and just a short stroll to open heath land and woodland.

Perfectly positioned for Lyndhurst town centre. Bedding crisp, white and immaculate (means a great deal to us). Really good reception staff.

The room was very cosy and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and gluten free options available. The location was perfect, very close to shops and restaurants.

In our opinion the hotel was spotless. All members of staff we pleasant and helpful. We had a small double room which was quite adequate for our needs. The cooked breakfast was very good indeed. There isn't a traditional bar, but a small selection of drinks is available at the reception - and there are plenty of pubs close by.
