Hotel Overview

This former coaching inn is set in the heart of the New Forest and has wonderful views of wild heathland.
Each room includes a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom with complimentary Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.
The bar and lounge offers cosy seating areas for guests to relax in. During the day, the property serves afternoon tea, and at night, guests can enjoy pre and post dinner drinks along with a selection of light snacks.
Located just next door is the sister pub, The Drift inn, where an a la carte style breakfast is served with a choice of cooked breakfasts including eggs from Claytons free range eggs, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes and a continental selection. Guests also have the option to dine at the pub for lunch or dinner.
Close to the village of Beaulieu and in the New Forest National Park, guests can also enjoy leisurely afternoon strolls where there is a chance to meet some of the famous New Forest ponies.

I love this place, it’s in a perfect position for walking, caters perfectly for your dog, even though I don’t have one, I noticed the facilities & thought how wonderful. We stayed so we were near to the National Motor Museum which was a brilliant day. The food was filling but so tasty! Nice varied choice. Staff couldn’t do enough for you! Will come visit soon. Thank you for a lovely stay again.

Very welcoming staff, excellent location. Room service exceptional food in the drift adjacent to the hotel was excellent and very well presented and good value for money. And most of all very accommodating for dogs.

Warm welcome from staff , love the dog towels in entrance and the welcome dog treat box on room really lovely touch. Food was good in the pub next door. Room clean , bed comfortable had a great night's sleep. Also great to see a dog wash outside if needed.
