Great staff, food and drink. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Just a bit noisy early in morning, maybe staff cleaning or work in brewery? A bit far from town centre, so we drove.

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived. Our room was very clean with a good sized modern bathroom. One of the best fresh,hot cooked breakfast we,'ve had. We ate in the restaurant the first night. There was a good menu to choose from. Good value for money. I had a risotto, my husband the curry. We both enjoyed our food.All the staff were very friendly. The pub is very old & has a lot of history & seems to be used by local people. It was lovely to see a pub busy in these trying times.

The Breakfast was excellent and served promptly, with lots of flexibility on the choices offered in the menu and by a very cheery and personable member of staff. Repeat espressos were no problem to her. Great, and set us well for the day with food and mood!

Friendly service, helpful staff, room was clean and well equipped. Building and setting were good with a working micro brewery on site. Despite being close to a road there was no problems with noise during the night. Breakfast was excellent and the food served in the restaurant was very tasty.
