The fine print
As we are closed Sunday evenings the last check in on a Sunday is 6pm unless extended by prior arrangement.No Christmas Day arrivals (All Christmas bookings must arrive Christmas Eve or before or on Boxing Day) As we are closed on Christmas Day a festive breakfast hamper will be delivered to your room late on Christmas Eve evening.

Prompt check in, parking is secure. Great bar area. Comfortable bed which can always be a make or break of a room. Good breakfast menu and enough choice. Some TLC needed in small areas but very good value for the price !!! Would definitly stay again .. thank you 😀

The location was ideal for exploring the Forest of Dean area. Our room was comfortable and clean with an exceptionally large bed. The staff were all friendly and helpful.. What a fabulous breakfast, cooked to order using local ingredients. There are plenty of places within walking distance, to eat out in the evenings including the Swan itself. We highly recommend Amigos and Saffron Balti. We couldn't have asked for a better few days break.

Jo and Chris were the 2 ladies that seemed to run the hotel, bar and restaurant. They were superb hosts in every respect and made the stay such a great experience. The bar was full of friendly people and it had a lovely open fire. The restaurant menu was very comprehensive and the food delicious. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
