Very nice people. The stay was very pleasant. We only had 2 days to visit, and the hotel management made sure we could see everything we wanted to in the 2 tours they organized. We will come back with pleasure next week for more.

Thebes Hotel is a charming place hidden somewhere between the Valley of the Kings and the Nile. Our stay was very nice and comfortable. The personel was friendly and helpful. The rooftop view and the swimming pool are a fantastic bonus after a day of sightseeing.

The rooftop bar and swimming pool are an oasis. Good sized pool, beautiful Mountain View and quiet by Egyptian standards. There are many staff but they just want you to be comfortable. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and an ensuite bath and shower. They are cleaned thoroughly daily. There is a kettle, fan and balcony

The staff were very welcoming and the view from the rooftop restaurant was spectacular. They prepared the Moussaka with tahina instead of cheese, which made for a delicious vegan dish.

Staff were absolutely lovely particularly Arafat. The room was lovely with a huge balcony. Breakfast was very good and the chef is lovely.

Best view of the Theban Hills on the West Bank of Luxor. I love the rooftop area with the pool. Staff are wonderful and very friendly. The hotel has a lift. Excellent location, close to all the sights.

It’s hard to describe how beautiful the location is and how friendly and honest the family who run the Hotel are. The view of the Theban hills housing the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut etc is spectacular and only matched by the rooftop swimming pool and delicious food. The rooms are very comfortable with air-con and a bar fridge. Our family had an unforgettable experience.
