It was a beautiful location on the Nile, the staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble from the top to the bottom 😀 Excellent breakfast.

I can honestly say out of the 10 days we had exploring Egypt, staying here at the Sonesta in Luxor was by far the best. We were very tired after a long day, flying from Cairo to Aswan, and visiting the Philae Island and then across the desert to the Temple of Edfu by the time we arrived in Luxor we hoped for the best and our expectations were superseded. Genuinely the reception service we experienced from Wahid was 5 Stars + Our room was incredible. Everything was clean, more than comfortable, luxurious. The restaurants were amazing, food was fresh and delicious. We were only with you for a few days and were out most days, temples, balloon rides etc but next year… We come back and enjoy the pool and other hotel facilities. We LOVED it so much we will be returning. Thank you to all those who made our stay the best ever!!!! I have personally been to many places, genuinely this hotel is the best because of their ATTENTION & CARE, the love the staff each shared. Thank you! Kelly xx

The property was very charming and from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The lovely customer relations team couldn’t have been more helpful, particularly Nardine who was so attentive and kind. She arranged an upgrade to a Nile view suite which was incredible, with stunning views of the beautiful hotel pool and outside dining area and the incredible river Nile. Although not planned we were asked if we wanted to take a short boat trip on a Felucca linked to the hotel, which proved to be hugely memorable, thank you Mo and Ahmet for making this so special, we loved every moment. We had to set off incredibly early for a balloon trip and a tour of the Valley of the Kings and the hotel offered to prepare a breakfast box for us which was unexpected. Nardine also gave us access to our room and hotel facilities on our return, with a late afternoon checkout, such a kind gesture which we really appreciated after a very hot and tiring day touring Luxor. We hope to return at some time in the future and can’t recommend this fabulous hotel and its wonderful staff and excellent approach to customer service enough. Thank you all at Sonester St George for making us feel so welcome 😊

The room was spacious, comfortable, and the pool area is magnificent. We had food in two of the restaurants in the hotel, the Italian and the pool side restaurant and they were both great options. The staff in general was very welcoming. One staff member in particular, Catherine in customer relations, was superb! Very attentive, friendly, and knowledgable, she made our stay in the hotel really special. Loved the hotel, spot on would definitely return.

This was probably the nicest hotel during our trip to Egypt. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for one night and left very early for the airport. So unfortunately we couldn't use any of the amenities or try the breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom had a “wellness shower” with many functions. The whole hotel makes a very good impression. If we were to travel to Luxor again in the relatively near future, we would book this hotel again and hopefully be able to enjoy a good breakfast and other amenities.

The bed. The breakfast was great - Best falafel. The pool and the amazing view We also had dinner one night from the restaurant outside in the pool area and the food was delicious and not expensive ( only there )
