Incredible view over the Nile and Luxor temple, really lovely and original space. Walid was a lovely host. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We absolultey loved this place. Walid is the host and he's just great. We were in touch via WhatsApp ahead of time to let him know when we would arrive, and he talked via phone with our taxi/tour guides/etc. so that they would know where to pick us up and drop us off. Walid is communicative, dependable, and so very helpful. The room itself was so great, and looked just liked the pictures or even better. The only things were that the rooms were a little not-soundproof, so we felt like we needed to make sure we were quiet so as to not disturb anybody, but that wasn't a big deal and we were tired/quiet anyway. Also, I did not know that we would need to pay cash, so just make sure you have cash when you arrive (Walid is flexible and can take just about any kind of currency). I wish I would have asked Walid ahead of time about him making dinner for us, because whatever the other guests were eating smelled and looked delicious...we did order breakfast from Walid for our departure morning, though, and it was fantastic. So just communicate with him ahead of time via WhatsApp to get all your details sorted. I loved Walid, his family, his cats, and his home, and we would definitely return again. Oh, and the location was great...we just walked from his place to the little motor boats that take you from the West Bank to the East Bank and back...all was very close and well-situated.

Beautiful apartment perfectly equipped with everything and with such an amazing decoration. Located in a quiet part of the city. Walid is charming and kind, I felt at home. Thank you so much.
